I always feel so honored when a client invites me into their home for a session. There is no more unique place to document family life than at your very own home. The stories and memories and experiences that reside at home are unique to you and an important part of your family history. No other family will have the same photos that you do when taken at home. Not only that, but everyone seems so much more relaxed when in the comfort of their own home. It makes for genuine and authentic portraits.
I hadn’t seen this little guy since I photographed him at home as a newborn. I was invited back to document him just before his first birthday and man, oh man, he is as cute as ever! He has eyelashes that go on for days and a full head of shiny black hair. He is adored by his mom and dad and his grandparents who live with him. The love and attention for this little boy touched my heart and I could feel the importance of family throughout the entire session.
I am excited to watch him grow up and into someone very special.
