One of my favorite things about living where I do is the fact that the beach is just an hour away. My family’s favorite beach is in Half Moon Bay. We bring the dog and spend the day at the beach several times a year. I can count on my left hand how many times we’ve seen the sun shine at this beach in Half Moon Bay. It’s usually socked in with fog and sweatshirts are our clothing of choice. (Have I mentioned that fog is my favorite? It’s magical and so easy to photograph in.) So imagine my surprise when the skies were perfectly clear, the sun was glorious, and the weather was warm during this family session last month. The kids stripped down to their swimsuits and took to the ocean like champs. It was such a perfect beach day, we couldn’t have gotten any luckier.
