As a family photographer, fall is my favorite time of the year. This is when many of my favorite families come back to me to update their family portraits. I get to see how the kids have changed in the past year and catch up with the parents. And every year I have a few families that come to me for the very first time. This is one of those families. I knew I liked them right from the beginning as I chatted up the kids and found out what they were planning to be for Halloween. (What kid doesn’t like to talk about that? I’ve been listening to my own kids talk about Halloween for almost 2 months now!) I think I won them over as well judging by their reaction when I handed them each a roll of Smarties at the end of the session. Win-win!
