16×24 Standout Giveaway | Wendy VonSosen Photography

Every time I find a package on my doorstep from my photo lab, it’s like Christmas morning!  There is just nothing like seeing and holding your own photos in print. Since starting my business, I have been terrible about getting my own photos off of my computer and printed.  As you know, this year my goal (and I hope by now, yours too) is to get my photos printed!  It scares me to think the fate of my work is in the hands of technology which could fail me at any moment (although I do back everything up in 3 places just in case).

MPIX is a the consumer lab I recommend to all of my clients who order digital images. They not only offer fantastic print quality,  but they have a huge selection of products as well.   Their customer service is amazing and they are FAST!  Orders are usually sent out within 24 hours after ordering (if received before noon, they can go out the same day).  To help you in your printing endeavors, I’m thrilled to announce this giveaway!

GIVEAWAY:

Mpix is giving away one 16×24 foam-mounted standout!  (an $80 value)  I love standouts because they are ready to hang or to prop on a shelf, and they are lightweight and easy to display.

HOW TO ENTER:

1.  Check out their website and leave a comment HERE about your plans to print and display your photos this year.

2.  “Like” Mpix on Facebook.

3.  “like” Wendy VonSosen Photography on Facebook.

4.  Share this giveaway (on your blog, your favorite forum, FB, Twitter)!  Tell me how you did it in the comments.

Please leave a comment for each of the above.  One entry for each.

Please leave a valid email address so Mpix can contact the winner AND they will be emailing a print discount to ALL who enter!!!

You can enter each method once a day each day until the contest ends on Tuesday January 31 at 8:00 PM PST.  After the contest ends, I will be randomly choosing a winner who will be announced on Wednesday morning!

Good luck!!!

  1. I love taking pictures for my clients, but when it comes to my own house, I have been completely neglecting it 🙁 I just got done telling my fiance’ last night my plans to put up a wall collage in our living room. I was orginially planning on using large mounted prints, but I think standouts would look fantastic!

  2. I plan to print BIG when I finally move. Exactly what/how/where depends on the house and the wall space, but I have some images in mind. I’m thinking 30×40 for sure… somewhere.

  3. I had my second son this year, I am HOPING to take a lot of pictures of him and his BIG brother and actually print them. I have a lot of pictures of his big brother to print too!

  4. I just recently purchased a few standouts from a session a good friend of mine Jasmine Sargent Photography took and fell in love! I would love to have another standout on my wall!

  5. I would love to get a few of these when I order some of our family pictrures from Jasmine Sargent Photography:)

  6. Ever since your series started my thoughts have been racing as to where to put all those backed up family photos. This would be the headstart financially that would help so much!

  7. very cool, I have started printed more and more this year. I am even started printing for MIL, drives me batty to see the prints form her computer displayed for all to see. Loving the standouts.

  8. I love my standouts! I have the perfect wall for my ‘fine art’ image from this month … it would be perfect on a standout!

  10. Already a fan of you Wendy! AND seeing your posts got me inspired! I printed some of my own photos to hang after seeing this series! 🙂

  11. I’m dying to try out a metal edged standout!!! My walls are way overdue to be updated, even those they are adorned with frames, the prints are old! Time to get to work!

  12. What an awesome series Wendy! You (and your guests) have inspired me to get out the tape measure and start planning how to decorate our empty walls. (We moved 18 months ago). Standouts, canvases, some frame prints, mixed in some found items from our family adventures- that is my plan.

  13. I would love a big standout print for above the transition to the hallway. It’s such an awkward space, but since I’m lacking wall space, I should make use of it!

  14. Shoot! Too late for the contest. Would love to still be eligible for the Mpix discount code if that is at all possible. Loving your Picture Display Ideas!
